Cooking with Carla is a full-day immersive workshop and communal dining experience that celebrates the life, legacy and recipes of the late Carla Tomasi. Drawing from the rich archive of her Cooking with Carla project, this special event invites participants to explore her approach to food through hands-on making, shared stories and a convivial meal. Taking place the day before Mothering Sunday, it can also serve as a thoughtful and nourishing gift.
Led by Mangia! Mangia!, who knew Carla personally, the day offers an intimate insight into her life, her generosity of spirit and the dishes she loved to cook. Participants will spend the day preparing a selection of Carla’s recipes using beautiful ingredients, learning techniques that defined her practice, and helping to shape the menu for the evening meal. The experience culminates in a relaxed dinner where everyone gathers to enjoy the dishes created throughout the workshop.
This full-day programme includes all ingredients, expert guidance, refreshments, and food to take home.

This experience is designed for a very small group to ensure close participation, generous tutor attention and an intimate atmosphere throughout the day. Places are strictly limited. Each ticket includes all ingredients, soft refreshments, recipes, materials, full tuition, the communal dinner and a selection of prepared food to take home. Additional alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase to accompany the evening meal.
