Food has long been a provocative literary tool - used as metaphor and message, as political and protest, as something sensual, communal, excessive, or even abhorrent. The Reading Table is a space to explore these ideas through text, taste and conversation.

Whether it’s a whole book, a single page, a chapter, or an illustration, you’re invited to bring your inspirations to the table and conversation.

Hosted in GULP’s intimate dining room, The Reading Table is part reading group, part supper club, part cultural salon — a space for curiosity, generosity, and shared appetite.
